Reds boss Simon Davey has today made his ELEVENTH signing of the summer by capturing big Danish striker Kim Christensen from Odense BK for an undisclosed fee.

The 6'2" frontman started his league career at Lyngby BK, playing a total of 70 games, netting 18 goals. He then moved to German giants Hamburg SV in 2001, playing 12 games and scoring once in a disappointing two year spell. Kim then signed for FC Twente in Holland in 2003, in total he played 53 games, scoring ten goals. Brondby then snapped him up in 2005 where he played 19 games, scoring three goals. Odense then signed Christensen at the beginning of last season where he played 39 games, scoring 10 goals.

He also played ten games for the Danish U21s, scoring once. He joins Kayode Odejayi, Andy Johnson, Marciano Bruma, Dominik Werling, Robert Kozluk, Miguel Mostto, Dennis Souza, Lewin Nyatanga, Heinz Muller and Rohan Ricketts as newcomers this season.

The deal is subject to international clearance which has been a stumbling block with two of the Reds summer imports this season with the moves of Miguel Mostto and Heinz Muller both being delayed due to clearance in their own countries.
