More woe for Barnsley as Betsy breaks his toe

Winger and occasional makeshift striker Kevin Betsy has been ruled out until March after fracturing his toe during Saturday's home defeat to Luton.

The former Fulham star completed the match but reported for training today with a swollen foot and X-rays later revealed he had broken a bone in one of his toes.

This is a major loss as Betsy has been one of our few consistent performers in what has been an awful season so far. Kevin easily topped the Tykes Mad best player poll earlier in the season.

Mike Sheron (thigh) and Gary Jones (groin) are already doubtful for Saturday's trip to Port Vale.
