Barnsley have been given another transfer window boost by retaining the services of striker Ashley Fetcher until the end of the season.
The 20 year old arrived on loan from Manchester United with a burgeoning reputation at the start of the month and he further enhanced this by first scoring just five minutes into his Reds debut, in the 1-1 draw with Fleetwood in the Johnstones Paint Trophy and then changing the game last Saturday as he came off the bench with the score 2-1 against Rochdale and set up the third just a minute after stepping onto the pitch.
He will now remain at Oakwell until the end of the 2015-2016 season.
