Barnsley Football Club can today confirm that a deal transferring the shares in the Company (Barnsley Football Club 2002 Limited) to Wakeco 267 Limited has now been completed.
Wakeco 267 Limited will shortly change its name to Oakwell Holdings Limited.
As a result Mr Peter Ridsdale and Mr David Walker have both tendered their resignation from the Board of Directors. Gordon Shepherd has been appointed as the Club's new Chairman. Barry Taylor remains a Director.
