Chris Shuker hailed the Reds team spirit after the third successive victory on Saturday.
The midfielder said: "The team spirit amongst the lads is great at the moment. We're in 16th place and I think we're only seven points off fourth place, the league is so close.
"We could be right up there if we keep this run going and Christmas is a time when teams can either move right up the table or come right back out of there."
