Barnsley manager Simon Davey has today spoken out to quash rumours linking him with a return to former club Preston North End.
Preston sacked manager Paul Simpson on Tuesday and yesterday's Daily Mirror linked Davey with a return to Deepdale where he spent over a decade as player and coach, but Davey has rubbished the idea and says he still has much work at Oakwell.
He told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:
"I am not going anywhere. The board of directors at Barnsley have been extremely loyal to me during my time here and I want to be loyal back to them.
"I have a great relationship with Gordon (Shepherd) and Patrick (Cryne) and I have only just started the job here. We are still improving and I want to continue taking this club forward.
