United Show Form Is Permanent but Class At The Top Is Certainly Temporary

Whilst thousands of Manchester United supporters caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to one of the food kiosks in the North Stand at Oakwell, at half time of The Reds 2-0 Carling Cup defeat last week, forcing petrified workers to barricade themselves in the store room, the Premier League champions only response has been to offer the workers a day out at Old Trafford where they will get to watch a Manchester United match and have free food and drink!

Forgetting the fact that it is unlikely many Barnsley FC workers would actually want to watch a Manchester United match, it is a shameful offer when financial compensation to Barnsley Football Club and the workers would be far more fitting.

The cost of allowing people a free meal and match to the workers would probably only cost in the hundreds to a club which is the richest in the world whilst the cost of fixing the kiosk in time for Monday's Championship match with Sheffield United has already run into the thousands.
