"We are disappointed but on the day we were beaten by a better team. I thought we looked tired out there and we not in the game in any department at any time.
"Coventry City were the better side. There are no excuses and we cannot blame a lack of rest for that today. The two strikers were excellent and we could not live with them at all. We have been beaten by a better team today but we will move on and prepare for the Derby game.
"Coventry have been going well. We caught them on a good day and they caught us on a bad one. We could not contend with their pace throughout and it was backs to the wall really.
"We have a break now and will be able to give the players some rest. We have worked hard to play at a high tempo and we have to protect the players ahead of the Derby game. A lot of them looked tired today so we have to make sure they get their rest".
