Barnsley have now gone 10 matches without a victory at Oakwell, now just one short of equalling their club record of 11, set under Keith Hill in 2012-2013.
Barnsley have now played 41 home league games since winning promotion back to the Championship, and won only nine. (W9 D18 L14)
The Reds did manage to open the scoring for the first time in four Oakwell outings.
No surprise that Oli McBurnie scored the goal, he has now scored Barnsley's first goal in five of the last seven matches.
The recently called up Scotland international now has six goals in seven appearances for the Reds, and he is now the club's outright second top scorer this season, overtaking Harvey Barnes.
Each of Barnsley's last eight goals have been scored by either McBurnie or Moore (6 for McBurnie, 2 for Moore)
Barnsley scored on half time for the first time since the 21st January 2017 when Tom Bradshaw headed a 45th minute equaliser against Leeds at Oakwell.
It meant Barnsley led at half time for only the third time in nine outings.
The Reds have won two of the last four times they have led at half time - both v Birmingham.
Barnsley have now only scored twice in a match on two occasions in 24 outings, both coming against Birmingham.
Gary Gardner has now been booked in three successive games, in total he has picked up eight yellow cards in 22 games for Barnsley.
Barnsley have now won only ONE of their last 15 meetings with Norwich and only one of the last seven at Oakwell dating back to 2000.
This was only the fifth time in the 15 game run that Barnsley have managed to avoid defeat.
Jose Morais has now won only one of his first six games in charge of Barnsley - the worst start for a Reds manager since Danny Wilson in 2013 who only won one of his first ten.
Barnsley had 20 shots in the game, their third most at Oakwell this season after v Ipswich (25) and Hull (23)
They also managed five on target, their most in a game since the derby with Sheffield Wednesday in February (7)
This was the first time under Jose Morais that not all three substitutions were made, the last occasion was that Sheffield Wednesday match when Paul Harsley made only two.

Norwich manager Daniel Farke said:
“In general I’m pleased with our performance in the second half,” Farke said. “It was a difficult game with several lads injured or ill. Christoph Zimmermann shouldn’t really play because he was sick, and normally we would rest Alex Tettey but Harrison Reed was too ill to start, so he had to play.
“In the first half we concentrated more on the defence, and it was the first appearance in several months for a few lads so it was perhaps normal that we weren’t brave enough going forward. After 45 minutes we conceded and we had to take more risks in the second half and change the system [from 3-4-1-2 to 4-2-3-1], and we were a much better side in the second half, and it was a really good reaction in a difficult situation.”
