Barnsley won an FA Cup tie for the first time since 2014 to move into the second round.
This 4-0 victory over League Two Notts County was also their biggest FA Cup victory since that 2014-2015 season they defeated Burton Albion 5-0 in the first round - they would eventually reach the third round that season.
Since Kayode Odejayi's header famously knocked Chelsea out of the FA Cup and sent Barnsley to Wembley in 2008, the Reds have played eight ties at Oakwell (including replays) and this was only the third victory (W3 D1 L4)
Indeed home and away Barnsley have played 19 FA Cup ties since that quarter-final (including replays) and have won only six (W6 D2 L11)
This was the 18th time Barnsley have scored 4+ in the FA Cup (also doing so in 2014, 2005, 1999, 1993, 1989, 1985, 1979, 1962, 1953x2, 1947, 1936, 1931, 1927, 1910x2 and 1906)
This was Barnsley's FOURTH 4-0 win of the season (all comps) it is the first time they have scored four or more in four games in a season since 2015-2016 (4-1 v Swindon, 4-2 v Blackpool, 6-1 v Rochdale, 4-1 v Wigan)
Including a penalty shootout Barnsley have won five successive home matches for the first time since 2000 when they won their first six home games of 2000-2001 in all competitions.
If you do not include a club's under 21 side, Barnsley have won three successive home games against EFL opponents without conceding for the first time since February/March 2016 when they defeated Bury 3-0, Doncaster 1-0 and Coventry 2-0 - they would go on to gain a fourth successive home clean sheet, drawing 0-0 with Scunthorpe.
All Barnsley's goals came after the break (48, 53, 77, 81), the first time they have scored four second half goals since the 4-0 win at Wolves in September 2016 (73, 83, 85, 90)
There were four different scorers in a Barnsley game for the first time since the 4-2 win at Burton in October 2017, Potts was one of the scorers that day too.
The result stretched Barnsley's unbeaten home record in all competitions to 14 matches, (W8 D6) their best run at home since after losing their first home game of 2007-2008 they subsequently went unbeaten in the next 14 (W9 D5)
As mentioned before this is Barnsley's fourth 4-0 win of the season and Brad Potts has netted in all four, whilst Kieffer Moore has netted in three of them.
The Reds remain unbeaten when Moore has scored this season (W5 D1)
Moore and Potts both scored and assisted in this game, the second time they have both achieved this feat this season.
Zeki Fryers scored the second goal, only his second for the Reds, the other coming in a 2-0 win over Birmingham 12 months ago.
Cauley Woodrow also scored his first goal for 12 months, since netting for Bristol City in a 2-1 home defeat to Preston.
Daniel Stendel has now won his first league and FA Cup game 4-0.
Barnsley have opened the scoring in nine of their 10 home matches in 2017-2018 (all comps) and are still yet to be behind at Oakwell this season.
This was Barnsley's first win in four meetings with the Magpies and their biggest ever against them.
It was their first win against County in seven Oakwell meetings.
This was the first time Notts County have been knocked out of the FA Cup in the first round since 2015-2016.
Despite a 4-0 triumph both sides enjoyed 50% possession, meaning Notts County join only Bradford and Bristol Rovers that the Reds have not enjoyed more possession than this season - Barnsley have however won all three games without conceding a goal.
Barnsley had 13 shots on target, their most in a match this season.
Notts County despite only having one shot on target did force seven corners, the joint most by an opponent at Oakwell this season - also Walsall.

“Two mistakes put us 2-0 down very quickly after half-time,”
“At that point it’s an uphill battle because we had to push forwards trying to get back into the game and left ourselves vulnerable.
“We need to ensure we concentrate for the entire game and cover for each other because we’re making too many errors right now.”
