The game was all but sewn up within the first 28 minutes with Barnsley 3-0 up, it is the earliest they have netted three goals in a game since October 2005 when Daniel Nardiello (8), Martin Devaney (12) and Chris Shuker (14) scored in a 4-0 win over Oldham.
The Reds have opened the scoring in 10 away league games, the most in one season since 2016-2017 (11)
Jacob Brown has now scored eight goals this season - five of which have come away from home.
Brown and Alex Mowatt have scored in successive games, the first time two players have done this since January when Kieffer Moore and Cauley Woodrow netted against Wimbledon and Rochdale.

Kyle Letheren was the Plymouth goalkeeper who conceded the goals, he made one substitute appearance in an FA Cup Third Round tie against Blackpool in the famous season of 2007-2008 during a three year spell at Oakwell between 2006 and 2009
This was Barnsley's biggest ever winning margin at Plymouth and they have won three of their last five visits - one of the ones they did not win, a 0-0 draw in 2010 came after their original meeting was abandoned with the Reds 4-1 up!
