Young striker Michael Coulson bagged two goals as The Reds second string saw off their Walsall counterparts on the Oakwell Academy pitches yesterday afternoon.
Coulson grabbed his first five minutes before half-time after Walsall keeper Betrand Bossu completely missed a Paul Heckingbottom free-kick and Coulson was left to tap-in.
Coulson then sealed the win 8 minutes after the break after capitalising on a Peter Foran slip to run through and coolly finish.
Dale Tonge played the full 90 minutes for Walsall as he aims to seal a loan deal with the club once the loan window opens tomorrow.
