Reserves: Leeds 3-3 Barnsley

Leeds United must be sick of the sight of Daniel Nardiello as he made it 4 goals in 2 appearances at Elland Road this season.

Nardiello made his return from suspension at Elland Road and just like for the first team in December he grabbed a brace as The Reds played out a six goal thriller with their West Yorkshire counterparts.

Leeds took the lead though after 23 minutes, through Tresor Kandal, who helped himself to a hat-trick.

Kandol, who also scored when the first teams met in December was played through by young sensation Daniel Rose, reportedly being tracked by Chelsea and the former Barnet man took his time before smashing a shot past Kyle Letheren

The Reds levelled though on 35 minutes from the penalty spot.

Nardiello was wiped out by a challenge from Chris Fisher and "Nads" dusted himself down to fire the spot-kick past goalkeeper Jonathan Lund.

Leeds forged back in front on 70 minutes with Kandol on target again.

Rose again the supplier with a great cross that Kandol nodded past Letheren.

But The Reds levelled it again just 3 minutes later when Nardiello had time and space to drill an effort past Lund.

And amazingly with 10 minutes remaining Barnsley went in front for the first time in the game.

Richards pushed his claim for a first team place by heading home.

But Leeds weren't to be denied something and Kandol completed his hat-trick within 2 minutes.

He headed home a long ball from Simon Gardner to ensure the spoils were shared.

P.S After the success of Istavan Ferenczi and Peter Rajczi the club have taken another Hungarian on loan- striker Aron Pall featured in the game today.
