In readiness for Saturday's massive South Yorkshire derby at Oakwell the second strings of Sheffield Wednesday and Barnsley met at Hillsborough and for once a Barnsley side didn't lose there!

The Reds did fall behind on 25 minutes when ex Red Deon Burton headed David McClement's corner past Kyle Letheren but Barnsley forged level when Rohan Ricketts sent Michael Coulson clear and the young striker slipped his shot underneath Rob Burch.
