Barnsley’s Academy side failed to emulate the first team’s achievements in the FA Cup five years ago after being well beaten by the Chelsea youth team in the FA Youth Cup last night.
Barnsley who had seen off Oxford and Stevenage in the previous rounds fell behind to a Baker free-kick on the half hour mark whilst a brace from Kiwomya put Chelsea three up by the break.
The Reds fought valiantly in the second period but could not force their way back into the tie.
