Paper Talk:

Hardly a weekend goes by without either goalkeeper Heinz Muller or top scorer Brian Howard being linked with a Premier League move in January and this week is no different. Both sides got mentioned in the Sunday People's Hotline with Muller linked with a £1m move to Middlesborough who already hold ex Red loanee goalkeeper Ross Turnbull.

Howard's is more intriguing however. According to the People, UEFA Cup hopefuls Everton are after Howard, with a deal likely to go through if they bid £1m whilst also making Anderson De Silva's loan move permanent. Now I dont know about you but that sounds like a good deal!

Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate is chasing Barnsley's giant keeper Heinz Muller.

Southgate's spies like the huge Oakwell hero and they could move in next month, with Mark Schwarzer injured and also running out of contract.

Muller has caught the eye since arriving in England from Norwegian side Lillestrom and he can move if a club offers £1million. Southgate face opposition for his signature, but Boro could win the race if they offer first team football - and they could if Schwarzer's demands are too high.

Everton are keen to sign Barnsley's impressive striker?!?! Brian Howard.

David Moyes has been told he can have Howard if he pays £1million and makes Anderson De Silva's loan deal permanent.
