Level of Interest: Was a season ticket holder until this year, I live over 100 miles from Home Park so can not attend as many games anymore, will try to attend half the home games and about 5 or 6 games away this season.

How has pre-season gone for you?

Very mundane. You can sense the enthusiasm from supporters is muted to that of last season, they are in Austria playing 2 "fantastic" German 2nd Div teams. We've played a few local non league sides and Kidderminster.
Our only home game is against Dundee Utd - wow wee! However, as it's Sturrock's old team, I may go to that game, if just for the craic and to enjoy being at a football game with mates!

Are you pleased with the signings your club has made?

Not really, they are cheapo signings and they are the type that you'd expect as "ones for the future to develop etc" however, some of our signings are going straight into the first team, I am not impressed after all the sales we've had the last few months! Many Argyle fans feel the same with our "Happy Shopper" policy.

What realistically are you aiming for this season?

Survival with a vastly reduced squad, it's not going to be pretty. Anything else is a bonus, maybe a nice Cup Run?

Which player has past his sell by date?

Duguid? Who we just signed from mighty Colchester (sigh)

Have you got the right manager in charge?

For the current Board, yes. Sturrock loves the club, the area, gets on well with fans and Board members, I rate him but even I am concerned his hands are being tied at trying to perform miracles this coming season! It's not fair on the guy or the club that this situation has arisen.

What advice would you give him?

Ask for more transfer funds, we've sold enough!

Who do you see as your key player?

New boy Puncheon and young prospect Jamie Mackie.

Who would you most like to beat this season?

Bristol City home and away and it would be nice to get some points off Birmingham this time.

Where will you finish?

18th

How do you rate Barnsley's chances next season and where do you think they will finish?

I have a horrible feeling both Argyle and Barnsley will be scrapping to avoid the drop in a massive crunch game at Home Park at the end of the season, I hope I'm wrong on both counts. I have no problem with your club so hope both are in the CCC season after next.
