Left last summer via a service station and then returned in January after a poor showing of no goals in four starts for QPR. And he stayed in QPR form rather than the run of 31 goals in 62 starts that had previously made him a Barnsley hero. Managed just 1 goal (a classy solo run and finish against eventual champions West Brom) in 13 appearances and Simon Davey confirmed he would not be staying. QPR don't want him either… A lot can happen in 12 months hey Danny? E

Excellent young talent and every Reds fan will have their fingers crossed a permanent deal takes place. The foundations are there but its up to the player says Davey. A model of consistent and good in the air. B

If you can find a footballer whose ever had a season like his, you will have done very well. Started off with a fantastic goal of pace and power against Scunthorpe in September before being booed by his own fans after missing at least two sitters against Southampton in December. He then returned to play an instrumental part against Liverpool and score THAT goal to eliminate Chelsea from the FA Cup before riding clear and missing an incredible chance in the Semi-Final at Wembley, before a brace of goals at Watford and winning his first cap for Nigeria! Roll on August hey Kay. (P.S. you seriously expect to decide on a rating after the season he's had?)

Like Colgan has found the Championship just too fast and furious. The Captain Fantastic in the League One promotion campaign but was found out last season and a red card at Colchester in only the second game of 2007-2008 was the end for him. Moved on loan to Carlisle in January and may move here permanently this summer. G

Big things were expected of the former Tottenham youngster when he arrived on a free transfer from Wolves last season. But became a major disappointment. Started just two league games and looked very uninterested. Moved to America. U
