A Look At The Weekend Action.

The game saw goal-keeper David Preece start for only the seventh time since signing for the club in 2009 and it was the 34 year old’s first start since March 2010. Defeat however was not a surprise. The Reds have only won twice with Preece between the sticks- 3-2 against both Derby and Burnley in 2009-2010 and they have also suffered 5-2 and 6-1 defeats to QPR and Newcastle respectively.
