A Look At The Weekend Action

Last updated : 20 April 2013 By Rob Miles (BarnsleyBoy)

………….After going 39 league games without a goal-less draw, The Reds have now had two in their last four matches.

Today was however the fourth time in last five games that Barnsley have gone in for the break sporting a 0-0 score-line.

It is a second successive blank between the two sides at the City Ground.

Forest have now gone three games without a goal for the first time in 15 months and have not won any of their last six matches.

Barnsley have drawn four of their last five matches and have won just one of the last seven.

The result at the City Ground was the only goal-less game in the Championship today.

After scoring in 17 successive league matches, Barnsley have followed that by failing to score in three of the five matches since the streak ended.
