Anderson Out For Rangers Visit

Brazilian midfielder Anderson De Silva is definitely out of tomorrow's Championship encounter with Queens Park Rangers at Oakwell and could be out for six weeks!

De Silva has been in great form since joining first on loan and then permanently from Everton and has linked the midfield superbly.

He was stretchered off in the 1-0 defeat at Norwich at the weekend and Assistant Manager Ryan Kidd told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:

"We do not know the extent of Anderson's injury at the moment and he will be going for a scan tomorrow. It could be a week or it could be six so we will have to wait and see. We have to plan to be without him on Tuesday. It is a blow but we have to get on with it. The lads were buoyant in training this morning and hopefully we can go and get the right result.

"We will definitely be without Anderson tomorrow and we could shake things up a bit. There could be one or two changes for the game".

Sam Togwell could replace him
