Andy Ritchie's post match comments

Reds coach Andy Ritchie spoke after our latest unbelievable defeat at Oldham.

"I cannot remember the last time we even conceded a goal from a set piece never mind from a long throw so we are all very, very disappointed with that. We have got to play right to the final whistle and stay switched on for the full 94 minutes.

"We had enough chances in the first half to win four matches but if you do not put them away then you do not win games. I think a lot of our finishing left a lot to be desired and we picked the wrong options at times.

"Michael Boulding could have scored two more before he put one in. He has been struggling with illness and injury but I think he did ok for us.

"We should have won the game by half time and should not have given Oldham a glimmer of hope out there. We are conceding too many goals and not scoring enough - it is as simple as that. We are creating chances but we have to be prolific in front of goal".
