Whether Barnsley beat Chelsea or not in the FA Cup Quarter-Final on Saturday one person on the Oakwell books will be playing at Wembley this season.
Young defender Robert Atkinson, 20, who has made 10 appearances for The Reds helped League Two side Grimsby Town into the Johnstone Paint Trophy Final on Tuesday night. Atkinson is on loan at Blundell Park and played the full 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw in the Semi-Final Second Leg with Morecambe. After winning 1-0 in the first leg it was enough to send Grimsby to Wembley where they will face fellow League Two side Milton Keynes Dons on Sunday 30th March
