Barnsley 0-0 AFC Bournemouth: Post Match Reaction

"I thought the referee had either to blow for a legitimate goal or for a penalty kick. Their lad was pulling Brian Howard all over the place but he gave it the other way around. That was not how I saw it at all and I have to say that the referee got his one major decision wrong.

Bournemouth came here and got exactly what they wanted - a point. I was very surprised at the end when the referee only gave three addition minutes because with the way Bournemouth were time wasting it could have been seven. I think he could have a lot harsher with that throughout the game.

We had chances. I think Marc Richards did everything right in the first half but their keeper pulled off two great saves. Bournemouth did not cause a problem.

We are upbeat and we know that we have a massive game coming up next week. Oldham have caught everybody up now but we have closed the gap a little to second place. It is getting tighter and it will be nerve jangling all through to the end.”
