Barnsley 2-2 Huddersfield Post Match Reaction

" I think it was a fair result really overall but we are all bitterly disappointed not to have held on at the end. Matt Carbon was forced off the pitch at the end with a huge egg on his head and the goal just came from another long punt forward that did us in the end. I don't know whether it was offside but the official did not give anything.

Overall I thought Huddersfield were the better side pressure wise but we looked ok when we did manage to get the ball down and play. The best thing to come from today is that we have not lost. We have some walking wounded and we will have to patch them up for Monday.

We scrapped for things today and we have become more resilient as a team. Having said that I think it was the worst we have played collectively for 90 minutes for a long time. We could not cope with their long ball game and Andy Booth won everything up there.

We are all disappointed but we will be going to Chesterfield to put things right and look to bring back three points."

Barnsley Boy says: If truth is to be told we didn’t deserve to win today but to lose 2 points right at the death is gut-wrenching. Andy Booth ran the show in the air which was always a worry and two balls in the box did us in. Lets hope 3 points come back from Saltergate!
