Barnsley draw Minstermen in FA Cup first round

The FA Cup first round clash between York City and Barnsley sees a chance of revenge for bitter former captain Mitch Ward who left at the start of the season after not being offered a new contract.

Also out to prove he should have got more of a chance for the Reds should have been Jon Parkin. However, the big youngster who played both as strtiker and centre-back for the Reds is likely to be suspended after being red carded in York's draw against Scunthorpe on Saturday.
