Bradford manager David Hopkin said:

“It was important we got the three points to climb out of the relegation zone.

“We knew we would have to work hard against a very good Accrington side.

“Our game had to be adapted. We weren’t going to be able to play at our best after such a difficult run of games over a short spell.

“But we managed three fantastic goals today and we thoroughly deserved the win.

“Lewis scored with a superb finish and Connor thrashed one into the top corner.

“Two great left foots have given us two great goals, along with a great move to set up Eoin.”
