Fleetwood manager Steven Pressley said: 

"When you come here you've got to make sure in the opening exchanges that you don't go behind. 

"For 44 minutes of the first half I thought we were excellent tactically. 

"We lost an early goal and as a result of that we were always chasing the game. 

"In the middle two thirds we were the better side but they were more clinical up at the top end of the pitch. 

"After a really impressive performance from our front three on Saturday against Burton, we didn't quite get that creativity and that threat from them. 

"The difference between the sides tonight was that they took their opportunities and we didn't."
