Barnsley v Gillingham

Last updated : 10 January 2006 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

Richard Kell could make his full debut for the Reds tonight after his long rehabilitation from a broken leg finally came to an end with a substitute appearance on Saturday.

Bobby Hassell is still struggling whilst Robbie Williams picked up a knock in the draw with Walsall. Matt Carbon should be available though.

Barnsley should go into tonight’s game with confidence having not lost at home to Gillingham since 1968- a run of 9 games. Gillingham are also yet to win away from the Priestfield Stadium this season.

The Reds enjoyed a 3-0 win at Gillingham back on Tuesday 13th September thanks to goals from Chris Shuker, a glorious chip from Paul Hayes and a great free-kick from Daniel Nardiello.
