Interesting Stats:

These two sides meet for the seventh time since Wimbledon changed to Milton Keynes Dons. Back in 2004, Barnsley were the first ever team to face them.

The Reds have lost just one of the six clashes so far, in a League Cup tie, so Barnsley are yet to lost to the Dons in league action.

Barnsley had lost just two of their last six meetings with the now defunct Wimbledon so in total have lost just three of the last 12 of these games.

MK Dons have made a blistering start to the 2014-2015 season, winning five of their seven matches in all competitions including a 4-0 thumping of Premier League giants Manchester United in the League Cup.

The Dons have also been incredibly tight at the back, currently on a run of four successive clean sheets, their best run since December 2013.October 2012 was the last time they managed five shut outs in a row.

Striker Benik Afobe signed on loan from Arsenal in August and has netted in four of his seven appearances.

Barnsley are now unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions, their best run since they went nine without defeat in January/February 2013.

It is the first time Barnsley have entered September with just one league defeat to their name since 2010.

The Reds recorded their first clean sheet of the season in the 2-0 Johnstone;s Paint Trophy win over York. A shut out tomorrow will give them their first back to back clean sheets since April 2013.T

Barnsley have won each of their last two homes matches, scoring six goals and conceding just one. April 2013 was the last time they managed three successive home wins
