Sheffield United manager Nigel Adkins said: 

"It is a bad defeat, there is no other way to put it. It was an unacceptable performance and we aren't anywhere near where we want to be in the league table.

"But it is pointless feeling sorry for ourselves, that will get us nowhere, what I have to do is reflect and find solutions because the beauty of football is the next game gives you a chance to get a positive result.

"So we now have to assess things and lift the players for a South Yorkshire derby at Barnsley on Saturday, where the three points is our only focus."
