Sheffield Wednesday manager Garry Monk said:

"I was pleased overall. Obviously we wanted to win in front of our fans at home, but we ended up with a point.

"I was pleased to see the team with the right attitude. A team which wasn't willing to give up.

"It's a platform to build from, it was a clean sheet, it was a point. Considering the month that we have had I didn't expect the team to be at its most confident.

"I think they will take confidence from that type of performance. I thought it was a very even game."
