Bishop Rumours Quashed

Rumours that the Reds were keen to sign Bury striker Andy Bishop for £400,000 have been denied.

Bishop has scored 58 goals in 128 appearances for League 2 side Bury after joining from York City in 2006.

Simon Davey is currently scouting Spain and will return on Thursday which casts doubt over the Reds completing the expected signing tomorrow.
