Boggy Wants To Remain A Blade

Daniel Bogdanovic has fuelled the fires regarding a possible return to Oakwell after stating that he would have to consider any offer.

The 31 year old who acrimoniously left Barnsley for Sheffield United last summer to “pursue his dream of playing in the Premier League” watched in horror as The Blades were relegated from the Championship- a fate confirmed with a 2-2 draw with The Reds at Bramall Lane.

Bogdanovic missed that match through injury and new Blades boss Danny Wilson is believed to be considering shifting the Maltese international striker on to cut costs.

Bogdanovic told the Sheffield Star:

“It’s just rumours linking me with Barnsley. I was always grateful for the chance with Barnsley, even though I got a bit of stick from their fans last season.

“In football you never know though...so if an offer came in I’d have to consider it.
