Reds boss Simon Davey expects to see Captain Brian Howard return to Oakwell for pre-season training on 3rd July after receiving NO offers for the 14 goal midfielder.
Mass speculation has centred around Howard's future as he has just a year left on his contract and he has been linked with a whole host of Premier League and Championship clubs.
But Davey told the Sheffield Star he expects to see his captain a week tomorrow.
"I spoke to him last week, he was on holiday in Los Angeles, I'm expecting him back next week with the rest of them for pre-season training,"
The Star also claims Davey hopes to have four players in by next week with a striker maybe signing today!!
