A Barnsley game ended goal-less for only the second time this season and the first since August.
Barnsley have kept clean sheets in both league meetings against Bury for the first time since 1920-1921.
This is Barnsley’s first league draw in 13 matches (1-1 v Sheffield United in November was the last one)
It is only the fourth stalemate of the season, only league leaders Burton (3) have had less.
Adam Hammill’s red card was Barnsley’s second of the season and the first since Kevin Long was dismissed at Peterborough in November It is the winger’s first sending off of his career.
Barnsley failed to score for the first time in 12 games and only the second in their last 20.
They have though kept five clean sheets in their past six league outings and six in the last eight.
It is also three shutouts in four on the road and overall Barnsley have conceded just one first half goal in 2016 and been behind at half time only once (both at Gillingham)
