Cardiff To Come!!!

Last updated : 10 March 2008 By Rob Miles (barnsley Boy)

The dream of a 1912 repeat was kept alive as the finalists from that year, Barnsley and West Brom were kept apart in the draw for the FA Cup Semi-Final. The Reds must beat Cardiff, winners in 1927, to head back to Wembley in May. The two sides were first out of the hat today which obviously means Premier League sole survivors Portsmouth will face West Brom.

It's a dream for goalkeeper Luke Steele who would have been ruled out of the game if The Reds had been drawn with the Baggies as he is on loan at Oakwell from the Hawthorns.

Early ticket information indicates that Barnsley fans will receive around 30,000-33,000 which are priced at £55, £45, £35 and £25

Although full details, dates and times are still to be finalised by the Club, Wembley Stadium and the FA, Barnsley FC will sell tickets for this game in the following order:

1. Season Ticket Holders will be able to purchase up to FOUR TICKETS.

2. Non Season Ticket Holders who are members of the Oakwell Centenary Society will be able to purchase TWO TICKETS on production of their membership card / payment book.
Supporters with ticket stubs from our match with Ipswich Town will be able to purchase ONE TICKET at this time.

3. General Sale

More information will be confirmed later this week.
