Ryan Williams is the only definite absentee for The Reds opening game of the 2015-2016 season. Conor Hourihane is back from the medial knee ligament injury he suffered at the start of pre-season but is unlikely to start.

Alfie Mawson, Marc Roberts, Ben Pearson, Joe Rothwell, Dan Crowley, Marley Watkins and Conor Wilkinson are all set for their debuts and Manchester United target Mason Holgate should start.
