Former Barnsley loan star Michael Chopra has sealed a dream move back to the Premiership after joning Roy Keane's newly promoted Sunderland for £5m.
Chopra had a productive 7 month loan spell at Oakwell in the 2004-2005 season where he bagged 17 goals in League One.
Widespread rumors linked Chopra with a return to Barnsley last summer after promotion to the Championship was won but Cardiff nipped in instead with a £500,000 swoop.
Sunderland though matched a release clause in Chopra's contract and the former England U21 international will return to the North-East where he started his career with Newcastle United.
