Barnsley boss Simon Davey will have to change his side for the first time in five matches as captain Stephen Foster sits out with a one match suspension for picking up five yellow cards this season. Bobby Hassell and Marciano Van Homoet are vying to replace him with Hassell favourite. Jon Macken is likely to take over the captain's armband from Foster. New loan signing Simon Whaley is set to be on the bench.

The Reds go into tomorrow's South Yorkshire derby with an enviable home record against the Blades. Last season's 1-0 defeat was the first time Barnsley had lost at home to Sheffield United in eight Oakwell meetings. If there is a winner tomorrow the likelihood is it will be a tight affair. Sheffield United have been tighter than Scrooge at Christmas in defence this season and have conceded just eight goals in 15 games this season. They have gone five games without conceding a single goal and have let in just one in the last seven games- it was a painful one though, the winner for Sheffield Wednesday in the Steel City derby. Last weekend's 2-0 home win over Plymouth lifted the Blades to fifth as they aim to return to the Premier League.
