No sooner had the Reds brought in a new keeper in Tony Warner, have they let another go.

Play-off Final 2006 hero Nick Colgan has left permanently to join Championship rivals Ipswich Town on a free transfer after his Oakwell contract was settled.

Colgan made a monumental cock-up in the Playoff final but turned from zero to hero when he saved Alan Tate's penalty to send the Reds into the Championship.

The release of Colgan may mean that 'keeper Heinz Muller's injury isn't as bad as first feared. Lets hope so.
