Strikers Daniel Nardiello and Peter Rajczi are in talks to extend their stay at Oakwell.

Nardiello ended the season in red hot form scoring 6 goals in the final 6 games of the season and his contract which he signed in 2005 is set to expire this summer. Rajczi joined the club on loan from Ujpest Dozsa in February and has impressed Simon Davey enough to try and make the move permanent with a fee already agreed when Rajczi first arrived.

There are also rumours today that a defender from Sparta Rotterdam could be signing.

The Sheffield Star reports that Marciano Bruma is set for talks at Oakwell but as yet this is very preliminary.

The Club have also announced two pre-season friendlies in preparation for the 2007-2008 campaign.

Barnsley will travel to Millmoor to face local rivals Rotherham United who have just been relegated to League Two on 28th July whilst they will also travel to Rotherham's league rivals and Dwayne Mattis' old side Bury on 4th August. Maybe we could leave Mattis there....

And finally in an end of season report on the Official Website the club have announced season ticket prices for next season.

These along with the report is posted in the link below.
