Danny linked with top flight move

Who would have thought six weeks ago Daniel Nardiello would have been linked by the Daily Mail with moves to Portsmouth and Manchester City. If these rumours were to come true, there would be a chance of the former Man United man playing in the UEFA Cup.

No-one could have forseen the run he would go on, claiming he was unfit, lazy and not bothered about the club. These murmurs of discontent have been thrown out of the proverbial window by Nardiello though, the striker racking up six goals in four games.

Meanwhile at Oakwell, youngster Luke Potter has been handed a squad number for the last week of the season. Potter has been given the number 38 shirt, after Dwayne Mattis who has 37.
