Davey Requests Personal Hearing

Reds boss Simon Davey has accepted a charge of improper conduct following his action during Barnsley 2-1 home defeat to Sheffield United on the 8th November, but has requested a personal hearing.

Davey was sent to the stands by referee Andy D'Urso for ranting at the linesman after he awarded an 86th minute penalty to the Blades despite being more than 50 yards away from the incident. Davey was then charged by the FA.

Yes the same FA who did not charge Chris Morgan for fracturting Iain Hume's skull in the same game!
