Number three to join Barnsley on transfer deadline day is Fulham's Iranian midfielder Andranik Teymourian.

He joins like Michael Mifsud and Adam Hammill, on loan until the end of the season. He began his career in his homeland with Oghab FC and moved to FC Aboomoslem.

He was signed by Bolton in 2006 where he made 20 appearances, scoring twice. He was released by the Trotters in 2008 and signed for Premier League rivals Fulham where he has struggled to make the first team, making just one appearance, not helped by a knee injury.

He spoke to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk about his move:

"I was unfortunate to get an injury that kept me out of the Fulham side when a first team place was on the cards. Although I am now match fit, with Fulham going well in the Premier League, it is difficult to break back into the first team.I need games at this stage of the season and I had no hesitation in coming to Barnsley where I know I can do the midfield job that the Club needs."

Andranik goes straight into the team to face Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow night.
