Simon Davey's "99% certain" signing is set to be spaniard Diego Leon. Leon who is 24 currently plays for Grasshoppers Zurich and was in the Executive Suite for Saturday's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace.
The Spaniard is believed to be worth around £450,000 and plays in midfield. With Brian Howard and Anderson De Silva both rumoured to be plying their trade at Goodison Park, Everton in January, Davey knows midfield could be a main department to strengthen. Leon has scored 3 goals in 25 appearances for Zurich since signing in 2006. Previously he netted once in 14 games for German side Arminia Bielefeld
