Peter Ramage is the only doubt for The Reds after he went off early in the 2-0 win over Yeovil last weekend. If the centre half has recovered Danny Wilson is likely to go with an unchanged line-up.

Interesting Stats

This is the first ever third tier meeting at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Barnsley have lost one of their five visits to this stadium, winning three.

However they have lost each of their last four games at Doncaster in the third tier.

Overall Barnsley have lost just one of the last six clashes but four of the last six have been drawn.

These sides drew both meetings last season and each of the last three clashes have ended in a stalemate.

This has been a fixture of twos in recent times. Last month’s 1-1 draw was only the second time in the last seven meetings that at least one side has not scored twice

To continue the two theme, this also seems to be a fixture for braces. James Coppinger, Nick Proschwitz, Craig Davies, Jason Euell and Danny Haynes have all notched two goals in the last seven duels.

The goal-less draw at Oakwell in November of last year is the only blank in the past 18 clashes, 50 goals have been scored during that time.

There have been three post 85th minute goals in the last six meetings.

Doncaster’s next goal will be their 100th v Barnsley; The Reds are four shy of a century v Rovers.

These two sides go into tomorrow’s game separated by two points and two places in the League One table.

Doncaster are unbeaten in their last four league matches, winning two and have lost just one of their last eight League One encounters.

They have failed to win any of their last four matches in all competitions, three of which have ended in draws.

Rovers have struggled to perform in front of their own supporters, having won just twice at the Keepmoat, only bottom side Yeovil have won less (1)

They have also only scored eight home goals in their 10 matches, again only Yeovil (5) have a worst home scoring record.

On the flip side they have only conceded 13 times in front of their own fans; only sides in the top six plus Fleetwood have a better defensive record at home.

This means with 21 goals, the Keepmoat Stadium have seen the least amount of goals in League One.
