Dowie Sacked!!!

Coventry City have today sacked manager Iain Dowie, just a week after the Sky Blues hammered Barnsley 4-0 at the Ricoh Arena.
That victory was Coventry's only one though in their last six league games and this weekend's 1-0 defeat at Preston North End proved to be the last straw with Coventry languishing in 19th place in the Championship, four points off the relegation zone.
Dowie had a fine start to the season with the Sky Blues and a 4-1 win at Oakwell on the opening day set Coventry alight.
They were top for the opening four games of the season as they started unbeaten.
