The Football Association has proved itself to be a real farce again by confirming that Nathan Doyle’s fifth booking of the season in yesterday’s abandoned game at Plymouth will STAND even though every other statistic, including the four goals The Reds scored is scrapped!
To add further salt to the wounds, Anderson De Silva who was serving a one match suspension in that game due to accumulating five bookings, is STILL suspended as the Plymouth game does not count!
This means Barnsley will be without both Doyle and Anderson for the trip to Blackpool next weekend. Barnsley FC are going to contact the FA but are doubtful of any action.
Once again it has been proved that F.A doesn’t stand for Football Association, but for something that cannot be put in print…..
