Young Reds goalkeeper Scott Flinders will travel down to London on Monday to have a trial with Premiership champions Chelsea. Vultures surrounded the young goalkeeper in the summer months but he stayed firmly where he was at Oakwell.
Flinders has made eight first team appearances this season and his place came under scrutiny after a couple of mistakes. He has appeared for the Reds 19 times in all.

" It is a massive opportunity for Scott and we can not stand in his way should anything come of it. He will go down on Monday to train with them and we will see what happens"
